White Sauce Cheesy Pasta


  • Pasta is generally a simple Italian dish, but comes in many varieties due to its versatility.

There are many option to serve pasta dishes like some are served in starter, some in lunch and some as a salads or dinner, because the sizes are different for all of them. Likewise the flavors of pastas are also have different varieties, but today i am gonna share an easy peasy cheesy pasta recipe – Savour the taste of cheesey pasta with white sauce. This is my one of the favorite easy meal recipe. White sauce cheesy pasta with lots of veggies is a good option for your kids lunch box. Even You can prepare it for your loved ones any time or any special occasion like birthday party, kitty party or any celebration. According to your taste any types of cheese and veggies you can add in this dish.

Ingredients

1 cup pasta
1 cup milk
2 table spoon butter
1 table spoon all purpose flour
1/2 cup mixed vegetable (chopped)
50 gram processed cheese
1/2 tea spoon oregano herb
Black pepper powder
Salt to taste

Ingredients

1. To prepare cheese pasta, first take a deep pan and boil 1.5 liter water in it.

2. Now boil the pasta in boiling water until it become soft or (boil it for about 12 to 15 minutes in case you have doubts over softness).

3. After boiling drain the pasta and keep aside.

4. Heat a pan, add 1 tea spoon butter and add mixed vegetables and pinch of salt in it, saute them for about 4 to 5 minutes. Then keep aside.

5. Now heat the same pan on medium flame and add remaining butter in it. While the butter is melting, add all purpose flour in it and saute until the flour slightly change its color.

6. Then turn the flame low and immediately add milk and stir continuously to remove lumps.

7. Now add salt, black pepper, oregano and half amount of cheese in it and mix well.

8. Now add boiled pasta and prepared vegetables in it. Then add remaining cheese, mix well.

9. Now White Sauce Cheesy Pasta is ready to serve, garnish it with oregano and serve hot.

Healthy And Tasty Spinach Tikki


Spinach or Palak is a very healthy vegetable, it has iron, minerals, nutrients and many more healthy nutritions, in one word we can say this green bunch is another meaning of health.

Spinach is an easily available vegetable and cheap too so rather than using it in boring routine taste all time,

today will share something unique and really tasty recipe of palak.

This recipe is very good option for snacks and kids breakfast, lunch box too.

Ingredients

500 gram fresh spinach/palak leaves
250 gram chickpeas
200 gram paneer /cottage cheese or processed cheese
1 small onion (finely chopped)
2 green chillies
1 tea spoon chaat masala
1 tea spoon coriander powder
1/2 tea spoon garam masala
1 cup breadcrumbs
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon canola oil or any cooking oil

Instructions

1. To prepare palak tikki, first you need to wash and soak the chickpeas atleast 8 hours or overnight.

2. Boil the soaked chickpeas until it cooked well. After boiling, drain excess water from it.Then keep aside.

3. Wash and blanch the palak leaves. Then squeeze out excess water from it.

4. Now take grinder jar, add palak, boiled chickpeas and green chillies in it and grind them well.

5. Take a big bowl and add this grinded mixture into the bowl, and then add all spices in this mixture, and mix them well. Keep this mixture into the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.

6. Now cut the cottage cheese or processed cheese into small cubes or you can also grate it for the inside filling of the tikkies.

7. After 20 minutes add breadcrumbs into the mixture and mix well.

8. Heat a not stick pan and grease it with less oil.

9. Apply little bit oil on your both palms and take big lemon sized mixture from it and shape them into ball.

10. Now stuff this ball with grated cheese or cheese cubes and then give it to tikki shape.

11. Now place this tikki on hot greased pan and shallow-fry it until it becomes golden from both sides.

12. Then remove from the pan and keep it on absorbent paper. Likewise prepare all tikkies.

Now Healthy & Tasty Spinach Tikkies are ready to be served
Serve them with your favorite sauce or chatni or hot cup of tea.

#Rakshabandhan Special Recipe

Kaju katli or kaju barfi is a well known sweet in all over India, but it is extremely popular in north India. Kaju katli is a most demanding sweet during festivals like Diwali , Rakshabadhan. This delicious dessert recipe not only has awsome taste, but even easy to make also.

To prepare this sweet you need only three ingredients kaju, sugar and water. In Traditional way Kaju katli is garnished with silver vark, but this is not a compulsory ingredient, especially when you are preparing it at home.

So make your Rakshabadhan more special with these delicious Kaju Katli.

Ingredients

300 gram Kaju
1/2 cup + 2 table spoon sugar
1/4 cup water
1/2 tea spoon clarified butter for greasing the plate.
Silver vark (varak) optional

Instructions

1. To prepare kaju katli first of all you need to grind cashew like powder.

2. Now sieve this powder and set aside.

3. Take a non stick pan and add sugar and water in it.

4. Boil this mixture until sugar get dissolved in it.

5. Now add powdered cashew in it.

6. Cook it 5 to 6 minutes on low flame and stir continuously.

7. Meanwhile grease a plate.

8. When cashew mixture start to leave the pan, transfer it in to the greased plate and let it cool for 15 minutes.

9. Now take a butter paper and grease it.

10. Now place the kaju dough over the butter paper and fold the paper like, butter paper should be on top and bottom.

11. Now roll it to 1/4 inch thickness, remove the butter paper on top.

12. At this time apply the silver vark on that.

13. Set aside for about 30 minutes. Now cut into your desire shapes.

Cookies And Cream Dessert


Whipped cream is a multi purpose ingredient, you can use it in multiple ways and today i am going to share a new way to use whip cream throughout this yummiest Cream & Cookies dessert.

This is a chilled creamy layered dessert with crunchy cookie crumbs. Its not only the quickest recipe but easy as well and you will find its worth more than the time and efforts you will spend on it. Your kids going to love it and going to be more demanding during this summer, moreover you can make it more tasty by using your favorite chocolates in it.

So lets get start to prepare this yummy cookies and cream dessert today.

Ingredients

200 ml whipping cream

1 table spoon icing sugar

2 table spoon hazelnut spread

1 tea spoon vanilla essence

10 oreo chocolate sandwich cookies

Instructions

1. To prepare this recipe first of we need to whip the cream.

2. Take a bowl and add whipping cream in it and whip it until it becomes thick in consistency, then add vanilla essence and icing sugar in it,  mix well.

3. Now divide this cream into two equal portions.

4. Take one portion and add hazelnut spread in it and mix well.

5. Now coarsely crush the oreo cookies.

6. Now take small glasses and set them all three layer by layer – first hazelnut flavored whip cream then cookie crumbs over them and then simple sweet whip cream, likewise prepare all glasses and garnish them with your favorite chocolate.

South Indian Delicacy Medu Vada


Medu Vada/ Ulundu Vadai is a very popular south Indian snack. These are doughnut shape fritters which are made from urad daal.

Although medu vada especially served for breakfast but you can make it anytime as per your choice. Medu vada is a simple recipe to prepare from urad daal but challenging task is to getting the right shape, and for this the thing which is going to help is practice and after making 2 or 3 vadas you feel satisfied with vada shapes. Its not that complicated but yes it is not so easy recipe as well if you trying it in quick time. But i bet that you will realize the taste worth equal to your efforts. Basically medu vada is served with coconut chutney and sambhar but you can have it with your favorite chatni or sauce… So lets prepare it.

Ingredient

250 grams urad daal (split black lentils)
2 green chillies
1inch ginger piece (grated)
Pinch of asafoetida
Salt to taste
12 to 15 curry leaves
Oil for deep frying

Instructions

1. To prepare medu vada, first we need to wash and soak the urad dal for 5 to 6 hours or overnight.

2. Now drain the excess water from the daal and grind it along with curry leaves, green chillies and ginger to a smooth batter.

3. Add salt and asafoetida in it and mix well.(meanwhile heat the oil in a kadai or pan for frying the medu vada).

4. Now apply water on your both palm and take a spoonful batter in your hands.

5. Roll it and make a hole in the center, then gently slid the vada in to the oil.

6. Fry the medu vada on medium flame until it become golden in color.

7. Then remove it from the oil and keep it on the kitchen tissue paper.Likewise prepare the all vadas.

8. Serve hot with Coconut chutney or sambhar or as your choice.

Mixed Vegetables Oats Idli


We all are very well aware about it, that Oats is very healthy to human body. Oats is a multitasking ingredient, we can make dessert, snacks, appetizers and many more from it.

It is very nutritious, full of fiber and of course more than enough to cover your stomach if you starving. 

So today i am gonna share a healthy and scrumptious recipe of Oats, this is mixed vegetables oats idli. In this recipe, along with Oats i also used some rava and yogurt which gives slight sour taste, and pinch of baking soda to get the soft and fluffy texture. So lets begin to make these yummy mixed vegetables Oats idli now.

Ingredients

1/2 cup Oats
1/2 cup semolina
1/2 cup yogurt (whisked)
1 tea spoon urad daal (split)
1 table spoon peanuts
1 table spoon cooking oil
1/3 tea spoon asafoetida
1/3 tea spoon roasted cumin seeds powder.
2 green chilli (finely chopped)
1 inch ginger piece (grated of finely chopped).
1 small carrot (finely chopped).
1 small onion (finely chopped).
1 small capsicum (finely chopped).
8 to 10 curry leaves (fresh or dry)
1/2 tea spoon mustard seeds
1/4 tea spoon baking soda
50 gram fresh coriander (finely chopped).
1 table spoon lemon juice
Salt to taste

Instructions

1. To prepare Mixed vegetables Oats idli, first of all heat a pan and dry roast the oats and semolina separately.

2. Now coarsely ground the Oats with the help of mixer grinder.

3. Now take a big bowl add the whisked yogurt in it, then add semolina and Oats powder in it.

4. Now add all chopped vegetables(except onion), salt, cumin power in it. Mix well.

5. Now heat the oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. When the seeds crackle, add the urad daal, cumin seeds,curry leaves, peanuts, onion and asafoetida in it and saute on a medium heat for few seconds.

6. Now pour this tempering on idli better and mix well.

7. Now cover this mixture and set aside for 15 to 30 minutes. Meanwhile grease the idli moulds with minimal oil and boil the water in a steamer.

8. After 15 to 30 minutes add baking soda and lemon juice in it and mix well.

9. Now put a 1 table spoon idli batter into each of the greased idli mould and steam in a steamer for about 13 to 15 minutes or until the idlis are cooked.

10. Let them Cool and then demould them…Now mixed vegetables Oats idlis are ready to serve, enjoy them with sambhar, and coriander coconut chutney…😊

Healthy Coconut Popsicles


Only 3 ingredients (except water)

Coconut milk is a good source of several vitamins and minerals.

It can improve the health of the digestive system and promote digestion. Coconut milk can be used in a variety of recipes and today i am going to share one of them. It is coconut milk Popsicles, this is very easy recipe and very healthy for kids and all other ages.

In this recipe we will make coconut Popsicle with fresh coconut milk and some other ingredients.

Ingredients

1 fresh coconut
1/2 cup condensed milk
1 tea spoon custard powder

Instructions

1. To prepare healthy coconut Popsicle, first of all crack coconut shell and remove coconut from it.

2. Now cut the coconut in small chunks or you can grate them.

3. Now add 1 cup of water and coconut chunks in blender and grind them very well.

4. Strain this mixture into muslin cloth and squeez out all the coconut milk from the muslin cloth.

5. Now coconut milk is ready, pour this milk in a sauce pan add condensed milk, 1 tea spoon custard powder in it and mix well.

6. After mixing, boil this mixture and set aside to cool.

7. Pour this mixture evenly into the popsicle moulds and keep it into the freezer at least 3.5 hours or overnight.

To easily remove the ice pops, run under water to help loosen from the mould.

Then serve and enjoy!!

I like Coconut flakes in my coconut Popsicles so i add 2 tea spoon coconut flakes in it.
