Spicy Black Chickpeas Sprouts Salad/Chaat

Natural sprouts are good for health and mind development. They are wonder food due to its high nutritional value. Sprouts are associated with amazing health benefits, it ensures blood purification and strengthens the immune system.

There are many recipes of sprouts here and today i am gonna share one of them, this is spicy black Chickpeas salad. In this recipe i used some salad vegetables and spices along with sprouted black chickpeas/chana. So lets begin to make this super yummy salad…

 

Ingredients
1 Cup sprouted black chickpeas
1 small onion (finely chopped)
1 big tomato (finely chopped)
1 green chilli (finely chopped)
1 small boiled potato (cut into small cubes)
50 gram fresh coriander (finely chopped)
1/2 tea spoon black salt
1/2 tsp or as to taste rock salt
1 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 tsp chaat masala
2 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

1. To prepare Sprouted chana chaat, we need to soak the dry Chickpeas overnight or for 7-8 hours.

2. Once they are soaked, drain the water and tie them in a clean damp cotton cloth.

3. Place it in a plate/bowl or plastic box and keep it in a warm place for about 24 to 36 hours. Sprinkle water every 4 to 5 hours at regular intervals until sprouted.

4. Now Boil the sprouted black chickpeas till they are tender and strain the excess water(do not over cook).

5. Lets the sprouts cool, then take a big bowl add all ingredients together and mix well. Now spicy black chickpeas sprouts chaat is ready, garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and serve immediately…Enjoy!!😊

The nine day fast festival of Navratri is celebrated in the honor of Goddess Durga. Navratri fasting period is approaching soon and Samvat rice is one of the type which is allowed during that fasting period. Samvat rice are good source of proteins and carbohydrates. There are lots of fast dishes which can be prepared by samvat rice bt today i am making fried satvik rice from them. This dish is super yummy & tasty after having this, i am sure you will like navtari fast more than before…..So lets prepare   this satvik dish in my way.

Ingredients

1 cup samvat rice or vrat ke chawal

2 tbsp pure ghee

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

3-4 black pepper

2 green chillies (chopped)

1 small potato (peeled & cubed)

1 tomato (chopped)

1 tbsp fresh coriander leaves

150 gram homemade cottage cheese (cubed)

1 tsp lemon juice

8-10 cashews

Rock salt/sendha namak as required

 

Instructions

1. Wash and soak samvat rice for 20 minutes.

2. Now heat 2.5 cups of water in a sauce pan and add soaked samvat rice, cubed potatoes in it and cook until u feel that it is cooked properly(cook on medium heat)

3. In a pan – heat ghee, add cumin seeds, black pepper and cashews and saute until cumin splutters.

4. Now add tomato and green chillies cook it for about 3 to 4 minutes.

5. Now add salt and cook it for few minutes on low heat.

.6 Now add cooked samvat rice and mix it well.

7. Now switch off the flame and add lemon juice and coriander leaves mix well. Again cover the pan and let it sit for 15 minutes.

Fried Samvat rice is ready to serve now, server hot with plain yogurt…..enjoy

Tomato Soup

📝 Ingredients

1. Ripe tomatoes = 4 cups(finely chopped)
2. Whole black peppercorns = 5
3. Bayleaf = 1
4. Butter = 1 tbsp
5. Sugar = 1 tsp
6. Corn flour = 1tbsp
7. Salt to taste
8. Black pepper powder = 1/4 tsp
9. Fresh cream = 2 tbsp

📄Instructions 🗒

1. Take a deep non-stick pan add chopped tomatoes and one cup of water together in it, add the bayleaf and peppercorns, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 10 to 15 minutes, while stirring occasionally.

2. Remove the bayleaf and discard it. Allow the mixture to cool completely.

3. Blend the mixture in a mixer till smooth and strain it using a strainer.

4. Heat the butter in a deep non-stick pan, add the corn flour and sauté on medium flame for 1 minute.

5. Add the prepared tomato mixture, 1 cup of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes .

6. Add the sugar, salt, black pepper powder and fresh cream, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.

7. Garnish with fresh cream and serve hot….😊
🍅🍵टमाटर का सूप 🍅🍵

📝आवश्यक सामग्री
1. पके हुए टमाटर(बारीक़ कटे हुए) = 4 कप
2. साबुत काली मिर्च = 5
3. तेज पत्ता = 1
4. मक्खन = 1 बड़ी चम्मच
5. चीनी = 1 छोटी चम्मच
6. कॉर्न फ्लोर = 1 बड़ी चम्मच
7. नमक स्वादानुसार
8. काली मिर्च पिसी हुई = 1/4 छोटी चम्मच
9. ताजा क्रीम = 2 बड़ी चम्मच

📄निर्देशानुसार बनाएं🗒

1. एक गहरा नॉन स्टिक पैन लें उसमे काटे गए टमाटर और एक कप पानी डाले, अब इसमें तेज पत्ता और साबुत काली मिर्च डालकर अच्छी तरहा मिलाएं और मध्यम आंच पर 10 से 15 मिनट तक (बीच बीच में चलाते हुए) पकाएं.

2. अब तेज पत्ता इसमें से निकाल कर फैंक दें और इसे अच्छी तरहा ठंडा होने दें.

3. ठंडा होने के बाद , ब्लेंडर में इसे अच्छी तरह स्मूथ होने तक पीस लें और छलनी की सहायता से इस मिश्रण को छान लें

4. एक पैन में मक्खन गरम करें, इसमें कॉर्न फ़्लोर को डालकर मध्यम आंच पर 1 मिनट तक भूने.

5. तैयार किये गए टमाटर के मिश्रण को इसमें मिलाएं और एक कप पानी मिलाकर मध्यम आंच पर 2 मिनट तक पकाए.

6. अब इसमें चीनी,नमक,काली मिर्च पाउडर और फ्रेश क्रीम डालकर अच्छी तरह मिलाए,और 2 मिनट तक माध्यम आंच पर(बीच बीच में चलाते हुए) पकाए.

7. ताजा क्रीम से सजाएं और गरम गरम परोसे….😊
