Flavoured Almond Milk

When it comes to being healthy, there are few selected things comes in mind and Milk is one of them.

It is the best source of calcium for all age groups. Sometimes kids or included adults are not like to drink plain milk, that time flavoured milk is a best choice to go ahead with. There are so many options of flavoured milk like chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and all, almond flavoured milk is also one of them. But it is more than flavoured milk because its made by almond and almonds are among the world’s best sources of vitamin E, it contain lots of healthy fats, fiber, protein and magnesium as well. So this flavored milk is a perfect combo of health pack.

The best time to have this drink is a breakfast time or it is the best option during fasting because it keeps your body energetic full day.


25 almonds
1/8 tea spoon saffron
2 green cardamom (crushed)
500ml milk
Sugar as to taste


1. To prepare this healthy milk, first we need to wash and soak the almonds overnight or atleast 7 hours.

2. Now drain the excess water and peel the skin of almonds (meanwhile boil the milk in a thick bottomed pan).

3. Now add peeled almonds into the blending jar and with the help of little water make a smooth paste of it.

4. Add this paste into the boiling milk and let it simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.

5. Now add sugar, saffron and crushed cardamom in it and mix well. And let it simmer another one minute.

6. Now turn off the flame.

Super healthy Almond Milk is ready now.You can serve this milk hot or cold as your choice.


Wheat Flour Chocolate Brownie(Eggless)

On the special Occasion of “Mothers Day” today i am gonna share a sweet recipe which is my all time favorite and it is as sweet as moms love.

I am dessert lover and brownies are my all time favorite. Some people like fudge brownies but i like cakey and more chocolatey.

Brownies are one of American best culinary invention. To make it more healthier i am using wheat flour instead of all purpose flour. You can prepare it in Microwave and cooker also but i am going to a share oven method.


1.5 cup wheat flour
85 gms butter
100 gms dark chocolate
3.5 table spoon Cocoa powder
1/2 cup + 2 table spoon sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 table spoon yogurt
1/4 cup milk(luke warm)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup chopped almonds

1. To prepare Wheat flour eggless chocolate brownie we need to preheat the oven at 180℃.

2. Now mix the dry ingredients together in a big bowl – wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder.

3. Now sift the mixture 2 times and set aside.

4. Now take a big bowl, add chocolate and butter together and melt it in the Microwave (at medium temp for 1.5 mins) or double boiler. Meanwhile grease the baking tin.

5. Now take it out and mix well, after mixing add sugar, vanilla, whisked yogurt and nuts together and mix it very well.

6. Now add wheat flour mixture in it and mix well, pour this mixture into the greased tin, tap it 2 to 3 times, sprinkle  some crushed chocolate and walnut over it and then bake it in preheated oven for about 25 to 30 minutes.


7. When it is cool completely, cut into squares shape and serve with hot tea and enjoy it with your mamma… Happy Mothers Day!!

Khoa Pethha(Ash Gourd Sweet) Laddu

#Navratri special Recipe

There are many varieties and flavors of khoa (Dried whole milk) laddu like kesar khoa laddu, dry fruits khoa laddu and plain khoa laddu.

Today i am going to share khoa pethha laddu recipe especially for navratri fasting. Recipe is very simple which contains khoya, coconut powder, ash gourd sweet (pethhe ki mithai) and some dryfruits only.

This is one of the best North Indian sweet and famous for its taste. So must try once and after that i am sure, you will also become a big fan of it…




300 gram khoa (Crumbled)

150 gram Ash gourd sweet(pethhe ki mithai).

100 gram coconut powder

8 Almonds (chopped)




1. To prepare khoa pethha laddu firstly we need to grate the ash gourd sweet.

2. Now take a big plate and add khoa, grated pethha sweet and half quantity of coconut powder in it.

3. Mix them very well.

4. Now make smooth lemon sized ball out of the mixture and then cover it with coconut powder.

5. Likewise prepare all laddu and garnish them with chopped almonds.

This is very easy and super tempting recipe, So you can prepare it on any fasting or Navratri fast or any special occasion like Diwali, Rakshabandhan or whenever you want to eat something sweet…Enjoy!!😊

Lauki Khoa Burfi

Bottle gourd or Lauki is a very common Indian vegetable and it is full of nutritional value. It is highly recommended in Ayurveda. There are lots of healthy recipes of bottle gourd but… in my thoughts only few are tasty out of them, because i am not lauki lover😜. So today I am sharing a tasty one which is very delicious in taste and also healthy during festival season. Yes this is bottle gourd burfi. This is very easy recipe you can make this sweet on any festival or when you like eat somthing sweet. In this recipe i am using only few ingredients.. grated bottle gourd, sugar, khoa or milk powder and some nuts only……



1.5 cup grated bottle gourd

1/2 cup + 1tbsp sugar

1/2 cup Khoa or milk powder

2 tbsp pure ghee

1 tbsp chironji

1/2 tsp green cardamom powder

1 tbsp almonds (Chopped)

1 tbsp melon seeds

1 or 2 drops of green food color(optional)



1. First squeeze out the excess water from grated bottle gourd.


2. Now heat a thick bottomed pan and add 2 tbsp of ghee and grated bottle gourd in it.


3. Mix it well and cover and cook it on low flame for 6 to 7 minutes.

4. Meanwhile grease a plate with ghee.


5. Now add sugar and mix well. Again cover and cook for 5 minutes.


6. After 5 minutes add milk powder,  cardamom powder, and some nuts in it.(stir continuousl)


7. Cook it for few more minutes until it turn thick in consistency. Now Add green food color and mix well.



8. Remove from heat, pour into the greased tray and spread evenly.



9. Sprinkle melon seeds crushed dry fruits  and chironji on it. Keep aside and when it cool completely cut into desire shapes…. serve and enjoy!!


Tamarind Chatni (Sweet)


*Tamarind Chatni (sweet)**

(रेसिपी हिन्दी और इंग्लिश दोनों भाषा में उपलब्ध है)


1. Tamarind = 200 gms

2. Jaggery = 200 gms

3. Roasted cumin seeds

powder = 1/2 tsp.

4. Black salt = 1 tsp.

5. Dried ginger powder = 1 tsp.

6. Garam masala = 1 tsp.

7. Chilli powder = 1 tsp.

8. Asafoetida = a pinch

9. Pomegranate seeds and soaked almonds for garnish. (Optional)

10. Water = 1.5 cup




1. Soak tamarind in water for  five hours in a pan.


2.  With the help of your hands ,squeeze the pulp from the tamarind in the same pan .


3. Strain the pulp and add roasted cumin

powder,Black salt,dry ginger powder, Asafoetida ,Red chilli powder,garam masala Jaggery and salt.


3. Boil till thick enough to coat the back of a spoon thinly.


4. Now chatni is ready. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and soaked almonds.(optional).


5. Cool and store in clean airtight bottles and refrigerate.


5.Shelf life of about a month in the refrigerator…..😊


**इमली की चटनी(मीठी)**


आवश्यक सामग्री


1. इमली = 200 ग्राम

2. गुड = 200 ग्राम

3. भुना हुआ जीरा पाउडर = आधा छोटी चम्मच

4. काला नमक = 1 छोटी चम्मच

5. सोंठ = 1 छोटी चम्मच

6. गरम मसाला = 1छोटी चम्मच

7. मिर्च पाउडर = 1 छोटी चम्मच

8. हींग = पिंच

9. अनार दाना और भीगा हुआ बादाम सजाने के लिए(अगर आप चाहे तब).

10. पानी= डेढ़ कप


निर्देशानुसार बनाएं


1. इमली को 5 घंटे के लिए एक पैन में पानी में भिगोकर रखें.


2.  अब उसी पैन में अपने हाथो की सहायता से दबाकर इमली पल्प अलग करें और छान लें.


3. अब इसमें जीरा पाउडर,काला नमक,सोंठ,गरम मसाला,मिर्च, हींग और गुड मिला दें.


4. इसे तब तक पकाएं जब तक ये चम्मच पर पतली सी परत के रूप में न लगने लगे.


5. इमली की मीठी चटनी तैयार है आप चाहें तो इसे अनार के दाने या बदाम से सजा सकते हैं.


6. इसे ठंडा होने पर किसी साफ़ एयरटाइट बॉक्स या बोतल में भरकर फ्रीज में रखें. आप इसे इस तरह रखकर एक महीने तक प्रयोग में ला सकते हैं….😊
