So here comes the perfect recipe for this summer – Greek yogurt contains a high quantity of probiotic bacteria, which is essential for the wellbeing of your natural flora.

It is completely a healthy combo pack for our body, it is high in protein, calcium, magnesium and as well vitamin D, which helps for stay healthy during the hot summer period. It’s always complicated to find somethings that is so tasty and still healthy… So my todays recipe is a combo pack of health and taste too.


This is one of the perfect and healthy dessert during summers. I have used granola honey oats and fresh mixed berries for this dessert, you can use any flavour of granola and fruits according to your taste.

These all things keeps you energetic and feel full for whole day. So lets enjoy the summer with this healthy Parfait.


Ingredients

1 cup plain Greek yogurt
150 grams mixed berries
1 table spoon pure honey
1/2 cup honey granola
Half banana (sliced)

Instructions

1. Firstly wash the berries and take two glasses for Parfait.

2. Layer yogurt, granola, berries, honey and banana in a glass.

3. Alternate layers of granola and fruits with yogurt until glasses are filled to the top.

Serve delicious Greek Yogurt Parfait immediately to keep granola crunchy and tasteful.

Sugar Free Baked Gujiya/Karanji


Holi is the one of biggest festival in hindu culture, which is on its way and soon date going to arrive.

So just to make this occassion more big, more sweet and more memorable, i am going to share one of the most popular sweet recipe in healthy style and that is sugar free baked gujiya.

Gujiya is one of the main dessert of holi festival.

Here i am using mixed dryfruits and dates to fill gujiya, it makes them more flavourful and ofcourse guiltfree ( as it is baked option).

Ingredients
100 gram all purpose flour
50 gram wheat flour
2 table spoon pure ghee (clarified butter)
200 grams mixed dry fruits
1/2 cup coconut powder
2 table spoon dates paste
1/4 cup milk(luke warm)
Pinch of salt

Ingredients

1. To prepare them, firstly take a big bowl add all purpose flour and wheat flour in it.

2. Now add 1.5 table spoon of pure ghee and pinch of salt into it, and mix well.

3. Now knead soft dough with the help of luke warm milk.

4. After kneading cover and set aside for 20 minutes. Meanwhile prepare the filling of guijya.

5. For filling, you need to chop all dryfruits and nuts then take a bowl and add all filling stuff together and mix them very well.

6. Now divide the dough into 14 equal parts and make smooth balls from them.

7. Now take a ball and roll it with the helps of rolling pin. Roll it into circular disc approximately 4 inch in diameter.

8. Now place 1 tablespoon of filling on one side and bring another side together and close it.

9. Press the edges of mould to seal gujiya, remove excess dough portion from mould which is visible outside and then gently remove the gujia from the mould. (Meanwhile preheat oven to 200 ℃)

10. Likewise prepare all gujiya, then with the help of brush, apply some melted ghee over them.

11. Now bake them in preheated oven for 13 to 14 minutes or until they become golden in color.
Now healthy gujiyas are ready to be serve….Enjoy Holi with this special treat…..Happy Holi!

Doughnuts


Since this is the sweetest week of the year, today i am going to share a basic recipe of doughnuts.

These doughnuts are perfect for Valentine’s day party, kids birthday party and breakfast or snacks as well. This is very quick and easy recipe, so you can prepare it on special occasion or whenever you like to eat something sweet.

In this recipe, to decorate the doughnuts, i am using chocolate glaze, crushed oreo cookies, brown sugar, orange zest, coconut power and etc. But instead of them you can use your favourite options for glazed or decoration.

Ingredients

1.5 cup plain flour
1/2 cup milk (luke warm)
60 gram butter (unsalted, room temperature)
2 tea spoon sugar
1/3 tea spoon salt
1.5 tea spoon dry active yeast
Oil for deep frying

For glazing
1 table spoon brown sugar
1/4 tea spoon cinnamon powder
Melted chocolate

Instructions

1. To prepare doughnut, firstly we need to knead the dough, take a big bowl add plain flour in it.

2. Now add butter, yeast, sugar and salt in it, mix well.

3. Now with the help of luke warm milk, knead the dough for doughnuts.

4. You need to knead this dought until it get soft or about 9 minutes.

5. Now cover this dough with cling wrap and keep aside for about 1 hour.

6. After 1 hour knead this again until 2 to 3 minutes.

7. Now spread some dry flour on the board and place the prepared dough on it.

8. Now with help of rolling pin roll it 1/2 inch thick.

9. Now cut the doughnuts with doughnuts cutter or glass and take a small cap of bottle and make holes in the centre of doughnuts.

10. Place doughnuts on a tray and brush all prepared doughnuts with oil. Cover and keep aside this tray for about 1 hour.

11. After 1 hour heat oil in a kadai, and fry all doughnuts on low flame.

12. When they turns golden in color, remove them from kadai and keep on absorbent paper.

13. For glaze melt chocolate, dip the doughnuts into creamy glaze.
And its up to you, decorate the doughnuts as your choice or as shown in picture….Enjoy!😊👍

Flavoured Almond Milk


When it comes to being healthy, there are few selected things comes in mind and Milk is one of them.

It is the best source of calcium for all age groups. Sometimes kids or included adults are not like to drink plain milk, that time flavoured milk is a best choice to go ahead with. There are so many options of flavoured milk like chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and all, almond flavoured milk is also one of them. But it is more than flavoured milk because its made by almond and almonds are among the world’s best sources of vitamin E, it contain lots of healthy fats, fiber, protein and magnesium as well. So this flavored milk is a perfect combo of health pack.

The best time to have this drink is a breakfast time or it is the best option during fasting because it keeps your body energetic full day.

Ingredients

25 almonds
1/8 tea spoon saffron
2 green cardamom (crushed)
500ml milk
Sugar as to taste

Instructions

1. To prepare this healthy milk, first we need to wash and soak the almonds overnight or atleast 7 hours.

2. Now drain the excess water and peel the skin of almonds (meanwhile boil the milk in a thick bottomed pan).

3. Now add peeled almonds into the blending jar and with the help of little water make a smooth paste of it.

4. Add this paste into the boiling milk and let it simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.

5. Now add sugar, saffron and crushed cardamom in it and mix well. And let it simmer another one minute.

6. Now turn off the flame.


Super healthy Almond Milk is ready now.You can serve this milk hot or cold as your choice.

Vasant Panchmi Special Recipe

Today i am going to share a very popular Indian dessert recipe which is basically originated from Bengal. It will add more colors and taste to Special “Basant Panchmi occasion”.

This is almost the beginning of spring season and season of blossom flowers so in line with that – we can see many varieties of yellow dishes on occasion of Basant Panchmi.

Basant Panchami is celebrated on the fifth day of Magh Masa ( During mid of Jan or Feb). This festival is especially considered for lover of art and education.

Basant panchami is also celebrated as the birthday of Goddess Saraswati… So this recipe of mine is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati..

This is popular Bengali dessert – Kesari sponge rasgulla. It is one of the easiest dessert recipe made by milk, sugar, saffron and some basic ingredients only. So Lets celebrate Basant/ Vasant Panchami with this delicious dessert.

Ingredients

1 liter milk
3 cups sugar
2 to 3 table spoon lemon juice or white vinegar
6 to 7 green cardamom (crushed)
2 or 3 drops yellow food color
1 tea spoon rose essence or kewra essense
1/8 tea spoon saffron
2 cup thick sugar syrup (optional)

Instructions

1. To prepare kesari rasgulla, we need to prepare chhena first, boil the milk on high heat in a thick bottomed pan.

2. As soon as milk starts boiling, turn the heat medium and then add white vinegar or lime juice in it. Keep on stirring the milk very slowly with a spoon.

3. After about 2-3 minutes, whey will be seprated from chena, pour the curdled milk into pan or bowl lined with a thin cotton napkin.

4. Once you are done adding all the curdle milk then bring together the edges of the cotton napkin and gently squeeze out the remaining whey from it.

5. Rinse the collected bundle of chenna in water, this will get rid of the after taste and smell of both lime juice or vinegar, keep a weight on the chenna bundle for 6 to 7 minutes.

6. Chhena is ready now, take out chhena in a big plate and knead with your fingers until smooth, add some drops of yellow color and knead again.

7. Divide chenna into small equal parts and make smooth balls from it.

9. Now take a deep pan and add sugar and 7 cups of water in it. Then cook it until sugar melts compleletly, sugar doesn’t need to be of one or two  thread consistency.

10. When syrup start boiling, place prepared chhena balls into it one by one. Keep the flame high, cover and cook the chhena balls.

11. Cook the chhena balls in boiling syrup for 20 minutes, when they will get room temperature add saffron, cardmom powder and rose essence or kewra essence in it.

Beautiful, super sweet, spongy Kesari Rasgullas are ready to be serverd…serve chilled for unforgettable taste….Enjoy:)

Note- To make them more tasty, dip them in thick sugar syrup for atleast 3 to 4 hours.

Or if you don’t want to make them more sugary, avoid this step!

Tilkut/ Til ke Laddu


Tilkut or Til ke laddu/laddoo is Indian traditional sweet which is prepared on the hindu’s auspicious occasion of Makar sankranti and sakat chaturthi.

To prepare traditional tilkut, main required ingredients are jaggery and Til/sesame seeds only. But to make them more delicious and healthy, you can add your favourite nuts and dry fruits in it.

These are most healthy alternative of sweets during winter. Make these tempting traditional sweet at your home, the taste and fragrance of this recipe will make your festival like most special.

Ingredients
200 gram sesame seeds(white)
200 gram jaggery (crushed)
1 table spoon clarified butter

Instructions

1. To make tilkut, heat a thick bottomed pan on a low flame and add the sesame seeds in it.

2. Roast sesame seeds until they become light brown in color.(stir continuously)

3. Now turn off the flame and grind them coarsely with the help of grinder mixture, then keep aside.

4. Now again heat a heavy bottomed pan and add clarified butter and crushed jaggery together and melt this mixture on low flame.

5. When it melts, add sesame seeds mixture in it, then mix well.

6. Now laddu/ ladoo mixture is ready so turn off the flame.

7. Now apply some pure ghee on your palms and take spoonful mixture and make smooth laddu..likewise prepare all laddu.

Now Tilkut or Til laddu are ready to be served.

Note- To make them more attractive you can coat them with whole sesame seeds and with nuts as your choice.

Christmas Bundt Cake

Fruit cake is one of the key element which is always enriching Christmas celebration. It is in demand throughout the year but fruit cake is traditionally served during the Christmas and that is how more important than normal period of the year. It is full of dry fruits and nuts.

Traditional version contain rum soaked fruits but today I will share quicker and easier version of Christmas cake. This bundt Christmas cake does not contain alcohol and eggs and yet its texture is filled with moist and taste will be as equal good as having egg in it.

In this recipe, I am using all the necessary fruit cake ingredients, like dried plum, tutti fruity, cherries, dried fruits, dates and some spices to make it more flavourful. So lets begin to prepare this rich and delicious cake on Christmas celebration.

Ingredients

1.5 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup condensed milk
1/2 cup luke warm milk
100 gram unsalted butter (room temperature)
Pinch of salt
1/4 tea spoon nutmeg powder
Pinch of cinnamon powder
1/2 tea spoon green cardmom powder
1 table spoon vanilla essence
1 tea spoon baking powder
1/2 tea spoon baking soda
1/2 tea spoon orange zest
1/2 tea spoon lemon zest
50 gram dried plum (seedless & chopped)
50 gram tutti fruity
100 gram walnuts (chopped)
100 gram almonds (chopped)
100 gram chashew nuts (chopped)
70 gram raisins
50 gram dates (seedless and chopped)
50 gram pineapple chunks
7 to 8 cherries (chopped)
1/2 tea spoon butter for greasing the cake tin or pan

Instructions

(Preheat the oven to 350 degree F or 180℃ for at least 10 minutes. And grease the cake tin with butter and set aside)

1. To prepare this rich bundt cake, first you need to take a big bowl, now add plain flour, baking powder and baking soda in it.

2. Now mix this mixture with spoon and then sieve this flour two times and set aside.

3. Now again take a big bowl and add butter, brown sugar, condensed milk in it and beat them together until mixture become fluffy.

4. Now add cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, cardmom powder and vanilla essence in it and mix well.

5. Now add flour mixture into wet mixture and mix well. Remember do not overmix it.

6. Add orange zest, lemon zest, all nuts and fruits in it, and add milk as needed for the right consistency, then mix well.

7. Pour this batter into prepared cake pan or tin. Lightly tap it on the countertop. So batter will spread out evenly and if there are any air bubbles, will be removed as well.

8. Bake into preheat oven for 35 minutes.

9. Check the cake by inserting a toothpick in the center of the cake. If it comes out clean that means cake is ready.

Garnish as your choice and serve hot… or cold as your taste.. Merry Christmas!

Before adding mixed nuts in the batter, sprinkle some plain flour over them and spread it well .(Dusting the dried fruits with some flour before incorporating them in the batter helps in even distribution preventing them from sinking at the bottom of the cake).
