SPICY POPCORN WITH FRESH SALSA & QUESO DIP
Popcorn not only tastes good, but contains fiber and is low in fat and calories. And nothing beats the flavor of hot, freshly made popcorn at home but there is combo pack of yumminess….. popcorn with salsa n Queso..amazing combination so lets celebrate holi with this low calories appetizer.
SPICY POPCORN WITH FRESH SALSA & QUESO DIP

Ingredients

1. Corn kernels = 3 tbsp
2. Butter = 1 tbsp heaped
3. Lime = 2
4. Black pepper powder
5. Crushed mint leaves = 8 to 9
6. Cilantro for garnish
7. Salt = as per taste

For salsa

Medium tomato = 2
Small onion = 1
Garlic cloves = 2
Lime juice = 1/2 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Black pepper

For Queso
1. Butter = 1 tbsp
2. Plain flour = 1 tbsp
3. Fresh salsa = 1 tbsp
4. Cheese(shredded cheddar) = 3 tbsp
5. Salt and pepper as per taste

Instructions

For popcorn

1. Pour the popcorn and butter into a large deep pot. Cover and cook over medium- high heat until kernels just begin to pop,3 to 4 minutes. Add seasoning and crushed mint leaves and cilantro, salt and pepper and then shake vigorously. Pour into bowls.

For the Salsa

Add all the ingredients into a large food processor and pulse until thoroughly combined.

For the Queso

Add the melted butter, shredded cheese, salsa, plain flour, salt and pepper to a thick bottomed pan and cook on low heat (stir continue) until the cheese is completely melted.
Serve all together and enjoy cheese dip n salsa with popcorn.
